CATERING POLICY

Service Charge
Service Charge is a standard practice in the catering business. This charge is not a gratuity, this charge pays for everything from labor,  food cost, paper goods, equipment, fuel, time  in planning each event. The service charge will be added to your bill before sales tax.

Tax
The State of Maine has determined that sales tax for all catering services including food is set at 7%. This charge will be added to your final bill.

Gratuities
Gratuities are not required but are always greatly appreciated

Deposit
A $250.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve our services- a final guest count 10 days prior to the event  is required . Billing will be made to the guest count that is submitted 10 days prior to event. If the guest count increases after the final count is submitted an additional charge of $25.00 per person will be added over and above the initial contracted price.

A deposit of one half our price quotation is required upon acceptance of our proposal and the remaining balance due 7 days before scheduled event.

All price  per person quotes are subject to a 19% service charge and a 7% sales tax.
